Inside Joke

1. Overview

Inside Joke is a party game for your photos and your people. Host an event, load photos, then pick a game mode. Guests join with a room code.

Punchlines score points. Lowest drama, highest laughs.

2. Lobby

1. Host creates an event (or opens one from history).
2. Share the room code or guest upload link so friends can join and add photos.
3. Import from Google Drive / Dropbox / OneDrive, or accept guest uploads.
4. Accept photos you want in play. Guest uploads start as pending.
5. For Then & Now, accept paired Then + Now shots.
6. Pick a game and tap Continue.

Use Presenter on a shared TV so the whole room can follow along.

3. Face Value

Guess who’s in the photo — or who uploaded it (host toggle).

• Everyone submits a name guess.
• The photo uploader (or host) opens judging and awards correct guesses.

4. Caption Chaos

Everyone gets their own photo and writes a meme caption.

• When everyone’s in, vote for the best combo.
• Then rotate and play another round.

5. Say What?

One shared photo. Everyone writes a caption.

• Vote for the line that lands hardest.
• Authors stay anonymous until results.

6. Then & Now

1. Guess who it is from the Then photo only.
2. Host/uploader reveals Now.
3. Uploader awards who got it right.

Needs at least one accepted Then & Now pair.

7. Time’s Up

Same photo for everyone. You get a hand of phrases (plus Custom).

1. Host picks phrase categories and whether everyone votes or a rotating judge picks the funniest.
2. Host starts the 30s clock.
3. Pick a phrase (or write your own) before time’s up.
4. Vote or judge with anonymous lines — names show on results.

8. Eye Spy

A tiny zoomed-in clue from a face (eye or mouth).

1. Guess who it is from the zoom.
2. Host reveals the full photo (zoom-out).
3. Host approves correct guesses — anonymous until results.

9. Scoring & rounds

Winners earn points each round. Host can Next round, Start over (same game, fresh photo pool), or return to the lobby to switch games.
