Goal
Pack the lightest campsite. Cards left in your grid score their face value. Cleared columns score 0. Lowest total wins. The match ends when someone reaches the target score (usually 100).
Setup
Each camper gets a 4×3 campsite (12 cards, face down). Flip two starter cards. Play order uses the sum of those revealed values (lowest goes first).
Your turn
- Draw from one source:
- the face-down stock (Draw pile)
- the face-up central discard
- the top of any personal discard (yours or a rival’s)
- Place the card into one of your face-down (or replaceable) slots — the card you swap out goes onto your personal discard.
- If you drew from the stock, you may instead discard it to the central pile instead of placing it.
Cards taken from a discard pile (central or personal) must be placed.
After discarding from the stock
You must flip one of your remaining face-down cards.
When only one face-down card is left:
- Discard & Flip — discard, then flip that last card (this can end the round).
- Discard and Skip — discard and keep the last card hidden so you don’t end the round yet.
Perfect Packing
If a full column is face-up with three matching ranks, that column clears (Packed) and scores 0.
Breakdowns & sabotage
Ranks 11 and 12 are Breakdowns. Revealing two adjacent matching Breakdowns in a row lets you sabotage: flip one face-down card on a rival’s campsite. You cannot flip a rival’s last face-down card.
Ending a round
The first camper to fully reveal their grid triggers final turns. Everyone else gets one more turn, then all remaining cards are revealed and scored.
Doubling penalty: if you ended the round but did not have the strictly lowest score (and your score is above 0), your round score doubles.
Tips
- Prefer low ranks (−2, −1, 0…).
- Clear matching columns whenever you can.
- Watch rivals’ personal piles — you can draw from them on your turn.
- Don’t end the round unless you’re sure you’re lightest.
